This match started in 2006 when we undertook two performances, public and domestic. For the first one we traced a useless soccer field among the trees at the local park. For the domestic piece we traced another field –equally useless- on an artificial lawn in our family room.
Over the following years we have matched the materials that derive from each one: the preparatory drawings, the pictures and videos that documented it, the rug in the family room and even furniture in the house. These combinations uncover how the public and private spaces are different only on the surface, while we soon encounter the same difficulties to participate in their construction. We usually find that it has already done for us and we are left to adapt to it; at the most, we can reproduce models. Two fields full of rules where we are not allowed to play.
